Visitors will also remember tasting the cardenal, a typical dessert made with layers of sponge cake, meringue and cream, which was originally made in the Forn de Baix, the oldest pastry shop in the village. With around 6,000 inhabitants, Lloseta retains a close-knit community, known for lively festivals and markets offering local produce and traditional specialties. The village is an ideal starting point for hikers. It is also possible to visit the small oratory of the Cocó, 1 km away.
