Selva is a municipality located at the foot of the Sierra de Tramuntana halfway between Palma and Alcudia and borders the municipality of Inca. It consists of 5 population centers where the largest of them is the town of Selva where the town hall is located, the other towns are Caimari, Moscari, Biniamar and Binibona, all these towns are within walking distance of each other and have many features in common. Their environment is spectacular, they are surrounded by fields with cultivated areas, olive and almond trees and always in the background the magnificent view of the mountains. Selva is the main nucleus with about 2,000 inhabitants, it is a very visited locality since it is necessary to cross it to go up to the monastery of Lluc among other areas of interest of the Sierra de Tramuntana. In the center of this town is the town hall, the main square where the weekly market is held, the church of San Lorenzo in Gothic style dating from the thirteenth century and the park with its large square where the locals gather in their festivals, from here the view is really beautiful.
