We produce multi-layered, independent and characterful top wines in harmony with nature.
My team and I grow top wines in the best vineyards in Franconia according to Bioland guidelines. Ulsenheim, my home village, is the heart of our wine production. With a total cultivation capacity of around 38 hectares, our winery is one of the largest family wineries in Franconia.
In accordance with the guidelines of the Franconian winegrowers' group Ethos, the vineyards on our winery are cultivated organically. Depending on the desired style, the wines are matured in stainless steel tanks, large wooden barrels or barriques.
For me, the focus is on living and working in harmony with nature. The soil conditions, good flora and fauna, the microclimate, the weather patterns, the choice of grape variety and the decisions made in the vineyard and wine cellar result in the unique terroir of the wines. The wine pyramid stretches from fruity varietal wines 'from the Garden of Eden' to single-vineyard wines that reflect their origin to the best and greatest sites for our Großes Gewächse wines.
