Mancor de la Vall is located in the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana, around 215 m above sea level, and has retained the original charm of a small village surrounded by mountains in a valley depression. Of particular architectural interest are the parish church of Sant Joan Baptista and the chapel of Santa Llúcia, which were first mentioned in 1358. Mushrooms are the stars of the festival, especially the esclata-sang, which plays a key role in many of the island's autumn gastronomic specialties, and it is an excellent opportunity to buy all kinds of artisanal products and try delicious dishes made with mushrooms in the restaurants and eateries.
