Mancor de la Vall is an insider tip on the island, especially for people who enjoy an active outdoor life, it is an excellent location. It sits in the foothills of the Tramuntana Mountains.
The north coast with its wonderful beaches is only 20 minutes away, Palma a short drive . There are lots of great places to eat and the wine country with its bodegas is at one’s fingertips.
In a private and quaint little street of the village, an international interior designer who recently made Mallorca her home, restored and renovated this pretty townhouse, which was built at the beginning of the last century . Her eclectic taste and personal style resulted in the most charming, light and spacious interior , aimed particularly at couples who wish to experience and become part of our beautiful island .
Through the opening of former spaces the designer created aerie and spacious living and bedroom areas. The house features exposed wooden beams and stone walls, beautifully designed floors and two bathrooms, one ensuite . The kitchen with modern appliances and two large antique white marble sinks is connected to the dining room through an arch. The color scheme is a light melange of creams and beiges allowing the old stone walls to come to light. The house has a generously sized terrace with wonderful views into the mountains and a monastery.
Its feel is mediterranean, with a contemporary but elegant twist.
It is the perfect nest in Mallorca !
PS: The designer could be available for the interior decoration in case it is needed.

Building Description
Locations
Mancor de la Vall is located in the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana, around 215 m above sea level, and has retained the original charm of a small village surrounded by mountains in a valley depression. In addition to Mancor, the municipality also includes the hamlets of Biniarroi, Massanella and Biniatzent. Of particular architectural interest are the parish church of Sant Joan Baptista and the chapel of Santa Llúcia, which were first mentioned in 1358. It is worth taking a walk to the chapel to enjoy the beautiful views of the village and the mountains. Here you can also admire several houses with interesting architecture, such as Can Marquesí, Son Simó, Cas Vellaco or Turixant. The latter is now used as a hotel with a restaurant. In November, the Fira del Esclata-sang i la Muntanya (Mushroom and Mountain Festival) takes place. Mushrooms are the stars of the festival, especially the esclata-sang, which plays a key role in many of the island's autumn gastronomic specialties, and it is an excellent opportunity to buy all kinds of artisan products and try delicious dishes made with mushrooms in the restaurants and eateries. Palma is about 35 km away. Surrounded by mountains, Mancor de la Vall offers hikers the opportunity to discover a pristine landscape of great beauty.
